Step 1- Gutter Installation
A guttering system will need to be installed on your house to allow water to be collected. Some houses may already have gutters installed, but the water they channel is just left to run away, unlike with the rain collection process.
Step 2- Underground Tank Installation
Here at FLRCS we believe that underground tank installation is the way to go as many home owner associations have guidelines that do not permit you to have above ground tanks around your property. Tank capacity can range from 350 to 2500 gallons, depending on the size of your property or how much you want to collect.
Step 3- Filtration and Pump Installation
Most tanks come equipped with filters already built in to separate the water from any debris that may have also been collected in your guttering system, like leaves for example. A pump is then required to supply water from the tank to your irrigation system.
